Varying The Wording In Your Text Links Ads

Sunday, March 16th, 2008

Search engines assess the number of inbound links to a webpage when ranking it, but the quality of the links is seen as more important than the quantity of links. Even if you place the same link on every page of a sponsored site, the search engines, like Google and Yahoo! and MSN, won’t automatically give much weight to this plethora of links. Their algorithms have a way of analyzing the links in order to give more credit to genuine links and non duplicate content. So, to be on the safe side, as a conscious website owner, make sure to avoid an excessive use of the same text link ad. It is wise to vary the wording of the links you place on various websites in order to reduce the probability of being filtered out at some stage.
